William ( Billy) J. Luse Memorial Fund

GPA Daytona would like to thank Chris Jumper and Billy's many friends & family for their generous contributions to his memorial fund. The $5,000.00 that was received will help with the medical expenses of many greyhounds.

Chris & Billy adopted Ridley several years ago from GPA Daytona. Ridley had a severely fractured leg and GPA took him to the veterinary specialty clinic where Chris worked.  It was love at first sight and the rest is history! Without GPA, dogs like Ridley would have to be destroyed when they suffer a severe fracture.  Because of Billy's great love of Ridley, we plan to designate his memorial fund to be used only for broken legs, so that those dogs may also get the chance to experience the love that Ridley found with Chris & Billy.

Please check back as little Dorsey is the first recipient of Billy's Memorial Fund and we will have pictures posted within the next few days.

We are a group of volunteers dedicated to finding responsible, loving homes for retired racing greyhounds. We are part of Greyhound Pets of America, a national non-profit organization and the largest greyhound adoption agency in the United States. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Please consider opening your home and heart to a greyhound.  The greyhound's devotion is legendary. They seem grateful for their homes and reward their owners with never ending affection. Raised with their littermates, where they competed for attention, greyhounds love becoming the center of your attention as pets and will reward your love and affection by returning it tenfold.
